The Mess Tin is two parts and made of tin plated steel with a seam down one side and with a wire carrying handle. There is a retractable handle in the lid for use as a pan. This example is not maker marked that we can find, but is stamped on the lid 2 3 L ERE 32, a possible unit marking. The mess kit measures roughly 7 x 4 x
