Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting central crossed bayonet and stick grenade, within a square oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by four oak leaves with radiant designs, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 97. 14 mm (w) x 25. 43 mm (h), weighing 36. 0 grams, in near mint condition.
