Description

from the Chardonnay family

Sixty-year-old Carignan vines grow the grapes that then spend a year in French barrels to generate the rich and intense taste of this red wine

Organically farmed and hand harvested followed by ageing in Slovenian oak for 12 months

playful balance between acid

hints of yeast and minerals

Niederösterreich Rosé 2021 Blauer Portugieser from the Chardonnay familyZweigelt matured for four months in stainless steel. Because of the long skin contact, the notes of lime peel, apple juice, and white pepper have all been amplified. Some oxidation notes of sherry add to the complexity, which is well tasty!
