Finland. An Order of the White Rose, Knight, in Case Buy Now buttonhole for uniform attachment(Suomen Valkoisen Ruusun ritarikunta). Instituted January 28, 1919 by Baron Mannerheim. Type II. Civil Division. In silver gilt, a white enamel cross with lions holding swords in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a white enamelled rose surrounded by a blue ring, the reverse is plain, measures 40. 6 mm (w) x 44. 5 mm (h), weighs 23. 94 grams (with ribbon), enamels intact, worn on original blue ribbon, extremely fine. Contained in the
