A circular silver medal, the obverse centre with the head of Grand Duke Friedrich II in relief and facing left, circumscribed FRIEDRICH II GROSSHERZOG VON BADEN, maker marked RM, the reverse inscribed FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) within a circular oak wreath, measuring 38. 25 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
