An Early Cased Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge By Juncker; J-1 Hold Comoros Islands: Four-piece constructionA so called J 1 Type; wreath and eagle in nickel silver, thin wreath version by this maker, measures 63. 5mm (w) x 53. 3mm (h), weighs 28. 8 grams, marked on reverse C. E. Juncker Berlin S W, with nice old patina, textbook example, in slightly worn condition, with nearly all silvering and patinated darkened finish intact, in extremely fine condition. In an early case of case of issue, also in extremely fine condition.
