Tibetan Turquoise and Coral Gau Box Pendant nubian_pendant Furthermore chain dangles with smallSmaller sized, but bold and weighty Tibetan sterling silver (stamped 925) Gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) prayer box pendant adorned with turquoises and smaller corals. The backside is plain. The color of the turquoise is somehow darker thanit might seem in the pics. It closes securely. This prayer box is used to hold and carry powerful amuletic objects. Used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutanand Mongolia. A most beautiful example of a Tibetan Nepali Gau.
