Measuring 374 mm with the scabbard on, and featuring a 219 mm long magnetic nickel plated steel blade, with a factory dull edges and a dull tip. The blades reverse ricasso is marked RZM M7 56 for C. D. Schaaf, Solingen. It is diamond shaped, with the obverse of the blade etched with the SA motto Alles fr Deutschland (Germany Anything for German), retaining its original cross, graining, with light scratches to the blade
