Marsh Hen Mill Sea Island Red Peas Size:1.5 lbs We meet Estella SmartMarsh Hen Mill Sea Island Red Peas offer the rich, earthy flavor and sturdy texture that have made heirloom field peas an enduring part of Southern and Caribbean cooking. Their subtle nutty sweetness and deep savory character create a comforting, full bodied flavor that stands apart from standard red beans. When simmered, the peas become tender while retaining a pleasant bite, allowing them to absorb onions, garlic, thyme, spices, and smoked meats
