Germany, Heer. A Dress Bayonet, Staghorn Grip Version, by Gustav Spitzer Auction Archive and a wreathed enameled German(Heer Bajonett). An extremely well preserved Heer dress bayonet, measuring 35 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 20 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the tip and lower edge. A wide fuller runs the majority of the length of the upper edge of each side. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of GUSTAV SPITZER, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic lion
