German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) Leader's Dagger Auction Archive 4 mm x 56 mmThis dagger was adopted in 1938 and was authorized for all officials with the rank of Wachtfuhrer (officer or non commissioned officer in charge of a guard) and higher. It measures 380 mm, with the scabbard on, featuring a 250 mm nickel plated steel blade, with unsharpened edges, remaining bright and crisp, having a very sharp, near perfect needle like tip. The blade is unmarked and retains its beautiful crossgraining, with faint scratches, common to
