Medal For Zeal GTRexclude Forth (June)Medal for Zeal Gold' grade of medal for Zeal, struck in gilded bronze. . Awarded to Officer's of combat units for exemplary service. Medal measures 32 mm, and is mounted on blue ribbon. First type of this medal, introduced in 1913 during The Balkan Wars. Design was subsequently changed in favor of larger medal with altered design (#S98). Unmarked, but very likely manufactured by French maker Bertrand. Good quality, and in very fine condition. Scarce.
