Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, affixed with all reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of dark grey rayon threading with silver aluminum wire chevrons, culminating at each end in a loop for uniform attachment, retaining a dark blue grey wool underlay beneath the
