A Queen Auguste Victoria Medal for Mercy, c. 1914; circular medal constructed of feinzink, the obverse bears the left facing portrait of Auguste Victoria, to the right is AUGUSTE VICTORIA, to the left is the star of the Order of the Black Eagle, encompassed by a detailed border, the reverse shows a paramedic tending to a wounded man's arm and a nurse on the right side, inscribed with BARMHERZIGKEIT 1914 (Mercifulness 1914), signed
