(1908 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Friedrich II circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) inside of an oak wreath, the obverse maked marked R. M. for Rudolf Mayer, measuring 38. 17 mm in diameter, weighing 30. 2 grams
