In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the bust of King Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies (reign: 1830 1859) upon a pedestal and backed by a trophy of arms, inscribed "FERDINANDO II" above, reverse inscribed "LODEVOLE SERVIZIO MILITARE DI 25 ANNI" (Praiseworth Military Service of Twenty Five Years), with crossed branches of laurel leaves at the base, measuring 39 mm in diameter, bruised, edge
