Sweden, Kingdom. An Order Of The Sword, I Class Knight In Gold, C.1910 Auction Archive trimmed on the outer edge(Kungliga Svrdsorden). Instituted February 23, 1748 by King Frederick I. A white enamelled Maltese Cross with ball finials, with a crown in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a blue enamel field with three crowns and a sword, the reverse features a blue enamel field with a sword piercing a wreath with the inscription PRO PATRIA, the cross is surmounted by blue enamel crossed swords and a royal crown, measures 38. 0mm (w) x 57. 5mm (h
