Two First War American Medals Archive then to Sergeant on NovemberWorld War I Victory Medal (bronze gilt, 36 mm, missing its ring and ribbon); and Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen Great War Commemorative Medal (bronze gilt, 31. 7 mm, suspended from a pinback hanger inscribed "OUR COUNTRY", maker marked "W. & H. CO. NEWARK, N. J." (Whitehead & Hoag) on the reverse of both the medal and the hanger). Both medals with scattered gilt wear, contact marks and spotting, very fine. (C: 127)
