"Snail Lifes" Mug home Chain length - can beA ceramic mug handmade by Maria Poyato with carved illustrations of snails, ferns and some reflective text. Maria Poyato is an Edinburgh based artist. She gets inspiration from surrounding landscapes, nostalgic feelings and elements from nature that have lived and endured a long time. Like fossils, rocks, shells, footprints, etc. She experiments with earthy colours, textures and found objects, specially from the forest and the sea. Her work has a
