It uses the spring water that comes from springs right underneath the distillery, and malted barley from Muir of Ord. Talisker is famous for being the favorite scotch of Robert Louis Stevenson. Even though Talisker 10yr is not an Islay malt, it is known to be one of the peatier whiskys. It has a smokey nose and the sweet maltiness is perfectly complimented by its
