Germany, Ordnungspolizei. A Mint and Unissued Police Long Service Award, I. Class for 25 Years, c. 1939 Newly Listed S Army Air Force patch(Dienstauszeichnung der Polizei I. Klasse fr 25 Jahre). Instituted January 30th, 1938. (c. 1939 issue). Constructed of fire gilded bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with lightly textured arms, the obverse bearing a central Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse
