Constructed of silvered zink, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left tank track extending over the edge of the badge, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 41.
