Austria, Empire. A Marian Cross, Breast Badge, C.1914 Newly Listed Privately made star(Marianerkreuz des Deutschen Ritterordens, Brustkreuz). Issued 1855 1918. A silver Latin cross with black and white enamels; the obverse with a central white enameled medallion with a red enameled cross, surrounded by a black ring of enamels, inscribed ORDO TEUT HUMANITI; the reverse with a central white enameled medallion, dated 1871 in black enamels; on a loop for suspension from its period original tri fold ribbon; measuring 34. 68 mm (w) x 41. 08
