Constructed of silvered tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel, in turn defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, the eagle circumscribed by an inscription of GAUSIEGER (REGIONAL VICTOR) and a date of 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical
