A Purple Heart in Case, Numbered Republic of the rim of the skirtIn bronze gilt, enamels and purple resin, the edge has been impressed numbered 691174, measures 35 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), gilt wear to the obverse, enamels intact, contact marks to edges, remains near very fine. In original case, black leatherette exterior marked PURPLE HEART, with velvet interior, measures 90 mm (w) x 170 mm (h) x 30 mm (d), light wear and scuffing to exterior. Accompanied by the ribbon bar.
