Prussia, Kingdom. An Order Of The Red Eagle Medal, Merit Medal, C.1900 Newly Listed This particular buckle is illustrated(Rote Adler Orden Medaille). Instituted 12 June 1792 by Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1871 1908 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte with central Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse with monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm, unmarked, measuring 24. 70 mm (w) x 36. 18 mm (h), weighing 8. 7 grams, in very fine condition.
