Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval rope wreath, surrounding a central banner bearing an inscription of EHRHARDT, topped by a Viking longship cutting through waves, and situated above a cluster of oak leaves, perforated at cardinal points with dual eyelets for sew on attachment, unmarked, measuring 54. 10 mm (w) x 80. 02
