Sterling redesigned this double braid construction with a polyester sheath and nylon core construction that provides a huge increase in overall strength, while lowering the static elongation. The Atlas resists picking and protects the nylon core without sacrificing handling du to a tightly woven polyester sheath. The Atlas double braid rigging line
