Instituted April 1, 1800 by Ferdinand IV, King of Naples. An extremely rare order of extremely high quality, from the Napoleonic period, in solid 18K Gold, a Commander neck badge, featuring six clusters of three smooth rays with a white enamelled Fleur de Lis in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring a Gold and enamelled figure of St. Ferdinand in high relief, encircled by a blue enamelled ring
