A 1914 Issue Military Merit Cross First Class Archive measuring 105 mm x 47A 1914 Issue Mecklenburg Schwerin Military Merit Cross; a cross patte in fire gilt war alloy; the obverse pebbled, with FF inscribed in the entre, a raised royal crown on the top arm, and 1914 on the bottom arm; the reverse inscribed Gaal Wolfsburg, with a vertical slender banjo style pinback, a sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; slightly vaulted; measuring 41. 35 mm (w) x 41. 10 mm (h); weighing 16. 4 grams; in extremely fine condition.
