Constructed of partially blackened aluminum, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of 1930 topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a protruding boutonniere style attachment, maker marked H. AURICH, DRESDEN, measuring 30. 33 mm in diameter, weighing 4. 3 grams, an unusual example of a Stahlhelm commemorative service badge in extremely fine
