A garrison cap (also known as a board cap) constructed of deep, navy blue wool, with fold down sides and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops towards the front, bearing gold cord piping around the upper edge of the flap, the centre of the cap features a national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed swastika, woven in golden bullion wire threads on a navy blue cotton backing, measuring 82 mm (w) x 40 mm (h),
