Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a swastika with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing raised central double Sig runes, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, measuring 37. 85 mm
