The bird was a common motif in jewelry of viking times as for the ancient Finns, birds were symbols of luck and success. The Kalevala Bronze Bird of Tampere (Tampereen Lintu) Brooch is an example of Nordic design merged with ancient finnish culture. Crafted in a brilliantly reflective bronze it measures about 35x50mm, it is perfect
