This a nice example of a WWII Iron Cross First Class 1939, with a Magnetic core, vaulted design, and back clip attachment. It is maker marked L 52 on the bottom under the clasp, for maker C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim, outside of Stuttgart. This iron cross is in very fine condition, with a lovely patina on the silver, and the black paint on the cross is excellent.
